May: It's time for us to come together, put the national interest first and deliver on the referendum
During a statement in Downing Street on Wednesday evening, PM Theresa May said that "it's my duty to deliver on the will of the people to leave the EU".
"Focus is now on finding a way forward on Brexit. Events of last 24 hours will have been unsettling for those away from Westminster" she added.
Mrs May held meetings with the Lib Dems and the Westminster leaders of SNP and Plaid Cymru but expressed her disappointment as "Corbyn has yet to take part in talks, but our door remains open".
The PM concluded: "It's time for us to come together, put the national interest first and deliver on the referendum."
