UK considering to abandon the practice of changing the clocks

United Kingdom is considering to scrap the -twice a year- changing of clocks, a few months after European Commission's ruling that all European countries should stay on a single time zone all year round.

Despite Brexit, the country is set to align with EU countries by adopting one time zone, in this case, the British Summer Time (BST) and abandoning Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) according to reports published by many British media outlets.

Members of the European Union have until April to decide which time zone they want to be in but it is not yet clear when the UK will decide about it.
