Thousands of people attended two different protests that took place in Central London on Sunday.
The first, started outside BBC’s offices in Portland Place and it ended up near Downing Street. Labour Party members as well as activists, anti-fascists and left - wing organisations took part in it as the other one was making its way to Westminster. The second protest was under the name “Brexit Betrayal Protest” and it was led by UKIP and the former leader of EDL and far - right activist Tommy Robinson.
Both demonstrations ended up in the same street but many metres apart. Between them there were strong police forces due to fear of violent clashes.
