Hammond: No deal Brexit would be a terrible outcome for UK economy
British Chancellor Phillip Hammond was asked in Parliament today if the UK will be leaving the EU on 29 March 2019, replying: "That is the legislated position.
"The government has an extensive contingency planning operation in place which is preparing for the contingency of no deal.
"But, for the deal, I think that would be a terrible outcome for the UK economy."
