Mayor of London Sadiq Khan sent a message to all the EU nationals who have decided to make London their home, saying that "they are our friends, our neighbours and our colleagues and they make a massive contribution to our city".
As part of the #Londonisopen campaign, he also praised the contribution of all Londoners that come from abroad:
"We are lucky to have millions of people from across the world who have decided to make London their home. They are Londoners, they belong here and they will always be welcome. We're getting the message out loud and clear around the world that despite Brexit, London remains open to the world".
